Lemonade Scones
What you’ll need
Ingredients
340g plain flour
135ml cream
135ml sparkling lemonade
Pinch of salt
1tsp baking powder
20g caster sugar
Method
ā¢Preheat the oven to 200 fan.
ā¢Place the flour, cream, lemonade, salt, baking powder and sugar in a large bowl and mix until just combined. Gently bring it all together into a soft and slightly sticky dough, then tip onto a lightly floured surface.
ā¢Flatten dough with your hands, and using a 6cm round cutter, stamp out eight scones and place them on a lined baking tray. Bake for 12-15mins until lightly golden and risen.
ā¢Place scones on a cooling rack to cool, split open and serve with cream and jam.
